What Is the Story of VIP HAT?
VIP HAT began as a small hat-making workshop in 1971, founded on the belief that “a truly good hat must be built on genuine craftsmanship,” not merely mass production.
From a modest workshop driven by skilled hands, experience, and attention to detail, we have steadily grown and refined our manufacturing standards, becoming VIP HAT CO., LTD., a full-service hat manufacturing factory in Thailand.
For over 50 years, we have combined the spirit of traditional craftsmanship with modern production systems and quality control, supporting OEM projects, custom designs, and manufacturing for both domestic and international brands.
To us, a hat is not just a fashion item, but a reflection of identity, lifestyle, and quality that can be truly felt by the wearer. This philosophy is why VIP HAT continues to be trusted as a long-term manufacturing partner by brands and organizations today.

The Beginning of Hat Making
The year 1971 marked a turning point for our family. After the sudden loss of the family’s main provider, a life once supported by stability became one that required strength and independence. Our mother began crafting hats in her spare time, originally because she could not find a suitable hat for her daughter. What started as a small personal solution soon turned into products sold at a nearby local market. With skill, determination, and perseverance, she worked to support and move the family forward.
In the early days, every hat was cut, sewn, and assembled by hand by family members and people close to us. Though none were professional craftsmen, each piece was created with the same heartfelt dedication. At a time when hats were not widely available products, what came from our mother’s hands was more than just headwear. It represented hope, resilience, and the very beginning of the “VIP” family story.
Building Experience and Expertise
Our family’s hat business gradually expanded from small shops in Bangkok to leading department stores and retailers nationwide. VIP children’s hats became widely recognized, often seen worn by children wherever one looked. With careful craftsmanship, modern designs, and durability achieved through attention to every detail, VIP hats were made to last and to grow alongside children through every stage of life.
Official Company Registration
As international partners began seeking hat manufacturers in Thailand, VIP was given the opportunity to step onto the global stage and began exporting products to Japan. High-precision work standards were practiced repeatedly until they became refined craftsmanship, earning the trust of overseas clients. VIP children’s hats grew in popularity both domestically and internationally. As demand increased, the factory gradually expanded, leading to the official registration of VIP Hat Co., Ltd. and a solid transition into structured industrial manufacturing.
Advancing into OEM & Custom Manufacturing
VIP began developing OEM and custom-made services, supporting tailored designs for clients, brands, and organizations. Hat styles, materials, and production techniques were continuously expanded and refined. During this period, VIP also obtained licensing for leading global brands such as Disney, Marvel, and Doraemon. At the same time, exports to Japan expanded beyond children’s hats to include adult and fashion headwear for leading brands, distributed through major department stores across Japan.
